Ryegrass - Lolium Multiflorum
Easylage® Ryegrass is produced from selected single blend cultures of Tetraploid Italian Ryegrass (Lolium Multiflorum) of the finest quality, harvested when the grass is young and therefore richer in vitamins and minerals. It is a long-stem forage and has very high nutritional value (1.6 to 2 times the nutritional value of dried hay).
The constancy of its organoleptic qualities and nutritional value allows a controlled food intake over time.
Healthy, nutrient-rich like pasture grass, tasteful, digestible and dust-free, Easylage® is the perfect alternative to traditional hay. An absolute must for the health of any horse and for its athletic performance.
Rich in water-soluble carbohydrates, that are a source of readily available energy, Easylage® Ryegrass is recommended for horses in intense physical activity, underweight or that must improve body condition. It enhances oxygenation and muscles activity, supports performance during high-intensity exercise, prevent horses from loosing body condition.
Consisting of a single grass variety belonging to the botanical family known as Graminaceae, is recommended for those horses affected by specific intolerance or allergy to Leguminosae.
It is free from dust and spores, and ensure the maintenance of an efficient respiratory system in the healthy horse and helps remission of clinical symptoms in the affected horse.

Feeding guide
Feed a daily ration of 1,5 to 2 kg per 100 kg of body weight. Adjust the amount in relation to type of horse and work load, reduce your hard feed to compensate for the higher nutritional content of haylage. Introduce gradually to the horse diet over a period of a few days.
